Each stick has approximately a 50 to 60 minute burn time. Historically, incense sticks have been associated with meditation and spirituality. It is believed that burning them relieves tension, stress, and brings about a more alert, creative state of consciousness. To make your own incense sticks we recommend completely submerging the plain incense sticks into your fragrance of choice for a minimum of 6 hours, with best results coming if submerged for 24 hours. The wet sticks should then be allowed 2 to 4 days for drying and curing.
