Aches
and Pains Massage Oil
6 drops Lavender (Lavendula augustifolium)
4 drops Petitgrain (Citrus aurantium)
6 drops Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus globulus)
30ml Jojoba Oil
Combine all oils into a 30ml bottle and shake well to blend.
Antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory properties of these oils may
be helpful for sore and aching muscles after a strenuous hike or
workout.
Can also be added to the tub (add 1 tablespoon to running water.
This will make the tub slippery).
Aphrodisiac
Massage Oil
6 drops Jasmine (Jasminum officianalis)
6 drops Rose Absolute (Rosa centifolia)
10 drops Sandalwood (Santalum album)
3 drops Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans)
Combine
all oils in a 60ml plastic massage bottle.
Combine
oils and add 60mls of your favorite carrier oil.This
makes a floral scented massage oil.
Athletes
Foot Blend
1 ml Lemon
1 ml Lemongrass
1 ml Basil
1/2 ml Thyme
1 and 1/2 ml Tea Tree
Combine in 5ml bottle and shake to
blend well.
This product can then be added to witch
hazel (1 drop per ml of your carrier) for a foot spray.
Blend into Epsom salts for a foot soak
(5 drops per 1/2 cup of salts).
Bath

2 cups sea salt
½ cup baking soda
½ cup powdered milk
2 tablespoons light oil
1 tsp vitamin E
2 whole eggs
10-12 drops essential oil (or blend of essential oils)
Preheat oven to 350°F. Mix all ingredients together. Take
teaspoonfuls of the dough and roll them into small balls on an
ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes till lightly browned.
Allow to cool completely and then store in a decorative container
ready for gift giving. This recipe makes approximately 24 drops.
You can add dried flower petals; such as rose
petals or lavender flowers.

Strain Massage
Blend
1 ml Ginger
2 ml Eucalyptus (globulus)
1 ml Peppermint
1 ml Pine
Blend
well in a 5ml bottle.
This blend can then be added to a
carrier oil and used for massage. Blend at a rate NO MORE than
15 drops of this blend to 30ml of carrier oil due to the potential
for irritation.
Rosemary
Honey Olive Oil Conditioner
This nourishing conditioner blends two ingredients from nature --
honey for shine and olive oil for moisture -- add Rosemary essential
oil to stimulate hair growth. Especially great for dark hair!
1/2 cup honey
1/4 cup warmed olive oil (2 tablespoons for normal to oily hair)
4 drops essential oil of Rosemary
1 teaspoon of xanthan gum (available in health food stores)
Place ingredients in a small bowl and
whisk. Pour into a clean plastic bottle with a tight fitting cap.
